Anthony J. Longo, 92, of Kensington, Ct., formerly of New Britain, Ct., died Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at the Hospital of Central CT @ New Britain General.  He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary (Ripa) Longo. Anthony was born in Stamford, Ct. and was the son of the late Joseph and Concetta (Gianni) Longo from Belvedere, Italy. He was employed by M. H.

John J. Mordarski, 80,  husband of Rose Marie ( DeCarlo) Mordarski of Middletown, died Tuesday at Middlesex Hospital. He was born  May 23, 1928 in Meriden.

Shirley (Landon) Bacon, 80, of Berlin, died Monday, May 18, 2009 at Hartford Hospital.  She was the widow of Richard E. Bacon who died Nov. 14, 2008.

Mary (Marut) Switajewski, 82, of Kensington died peacefully April 25, 2009, surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home.
She was the beloved wife of Joseph Switajewski for 62 years. Daughter of the late Marcin and Katarzyna (Suska) Marut, she was born and raised in New Britain and had been a Kensington resident since 1954.

Mabel (Granquist) Zytka, 82, of New Britain, widow of Anthony Zytka, passed away Thursday (May 14, 2009) at Jerome Home in New Britain

Eric Olander, 96, of Cromwell, formerly of Kensington, died Monday at a local convalescent home.  He was the widower of Hazel (Anderson) Olander.

Frank I. Pfister 88 of Newington, CT. passed away May 7, 2009 at Ridge View Health Care. He was the son of the late Ignatz and Mary (Windisch) Pfister, and loving husband to his late wife Eleanor (Marino) Pfister.

Donald Phillip Yale, 71, of New Britain, loving husband of Beverly J. (Embry) Yale, passed away early Tuesday morning at home. Born in Middletown, the son of the late Robert L. Yale Sr.

Sharon Warren, 45, of Kensington, wife of Darryl Cotton, died peacefully at home on Sunday, April 19, 2009.
