No bark left on tree hit by lightning

This photo was taken Wednesday morning in Clark's Grove East Berlin. This is the result of a lightning strike from Tuesday evening. It was interesting to see the path that the bolt took and also the total removal of bark. The debris field extended out some 60 feet in places.
