Recently, a registered member of The Berlin Citizen online community created a post on The Berlin Citizen website that provided links to pages on Facebook.
The message of the post was to expose underage residents doing inappropriate things in photos and on video.
Since the post featured the names of underage children, it was deleted.
This content did not come from the staff or editors of The Citizen. It came from a registered user.
The Berlin Citizen community forum is an open forum and content can be created by anyone who registers with a valid e-mail address.
The site is monitored and if the posts are deemed offensive they are immediately taken down.
Viewers should be aware, however, that Facebook, MySpace and other social networking websites are for public consumption and the content on those websites can be copied and transferred anywhere on the web.
