Eleanor M. (Kane) McCrann, 89, of New Britain, died Monday at home.

A life long New Britain resident, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Estelle (Pawlik) Kane. She was the wife of the late Captain Robert F. McCrann of the New Britain Fire Department. A long time employee of Fafnir Bearing, she belong to the Fafnir Retires and St. Maurice Church.

Mrs. McCrann is survived by four sons Robert and his wife Nancy McCrann of Berlin, William McCrann of Southington, Mark an his wife Debra McCrann of Southington and Arnold and his wife Edith Suess of Virginia; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; her sister Jean Bekker of Southington and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday 10:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Square New Britain, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Maurice Church 100 Wightman Road New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
